Leading corporations know the value of investing in key employees. Wharton Programs for Working Professionals (WPWP) provides your most valued managers with the fundamental knowledge needed to enhance their own performance and help attain the company's strategic goals.
A division of The Wharton School, WPWP offers standardized post-baccalaureate courses in corporate finance, accounting, marketing, human resources, and general management in programs that can be completed part-time in as little as a year. These classes take place in the evenings, allowing participants to continue their professional responsibilities, and emphasize the application of theory to the practical management issues facing them each day. Courses are held in state-of-the-art teaching facilities at Jon M. Huntsman Hall on the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia.
Upon completion of the standard certificate course work, participants earn graded, post-baccalaureate course credits from the University of Pennsylvania. Because most schools accept these credits toward degree-program participation, WPWP certificate courses are usually eligible for company Tuition Assistance Programs (TAPs).
Customized Certificates That Link to Your Strategic Objectives
WPWP certificate content can be fully customized to include company and industry-specific content. Our Program Design Team can work with your learning and development representative to create a program drawing from a robust selection of courses, using guest speakers, interactive simulations, and cultural proficiency or English language programs, depending on your development needs. Custom programs can be delivered here at Wharton or onsite at your location. We can also use our Virtual Classroom to provide pre-, post-, and during- program opportunities to extend the connection and allow remote learners to participate.
